In the bustling heart of Durban where the Indian ocean kisses the shores, there is a young visionary, Sinegugu Hlobisile Cele, with a passion for beauty and wellness that rivaled the city's vibrant spirit. Sinegugu imbarked on a journey that would illuminate her path and inspire many

Sinegugu's story began in the quaint corners of the KZN rural areas and is still operating in a rural area in the south coast of KZN.

"This area would not ordinarily create a brand of my caliber, the origins of my brand inspire and also speaks to the underdog", says Sinegugu.

Having to be born and start her brand in KZN has benefited her a lot because that is where natural remedies and concoctions are a legacy that is passed down through generations. Her fascination with the healing powers of nature led her to  dream of a skin line that would blend tradition with innovation.

Her one aim of creating a skincare brand was to provide alternative skin and hair care brand for people with African skin/hair and target their concerns even though there are no limitations to the specific group.

After years of research and experimentation, Sinegugu finally on 2022 unveiled "Good to Glow beauty and cosmetics" a skin care that contains a body butter, hair butter, lip butter, satin bonnet, and a satin pillow.

These products, crafted with indigenous African botanicals, quickly became a sensation. The unique blend of shea butter, sweet almond oil, coconut oil and tea tree in her signature serum is a testament to her dedication to natural beauty.

One of the things that motivated her to create skincare products was because of her skin condition which lead her to discover raw butter from Ghana and it was the only ingredient that seemed to help without adverse reactions.

Sinegugu's competition is very advent, she was nominated for the Next Billionaire Awards 2023 in the category of beauty and image consulting and won. Her future plans are to create and launch more products inorder to widen their range and to be widely accessible in other public stores.

She wishes to partner with retail stores as her business grows and its production capacity grows. This will also help her more in spreading awareness.
